Bishop Shoots Improv Pilot

Bishop Improv is Marshall Givens, Julia Wackenheim-Gimple, Tom Christensen, Jaime Moyer, & Clayton Froning

My improv team, Bishop, just shot a super fancy pilot for the web.  You can see us here in studio in front of the green screen.  I had a blast working with the very capable cast and crew, and can’t wait to do it again!

Highlights definitely include Clay smashing Taco Bell into my face for 5 minutes straight, playing the Kardashians’ dog, and working with dynamo Chelsea Heath.

The cast includes me, Marshall Givens (Bloodsucking Bastards), Julia Wackenheim-Gimple (God Particles), Jaime Moyer (2 Broke Girls), & Clayton Froning (Teen Wolf).

NBA 2K15, My First MoCap!

Tom Christensen and Sheldon Bailey in NBA 2K15 Career Mode

The next installment of 2K’s NBA series has arrived, NBA 2K15!  I played the agent in the game’s Career Mode, and you get to see me throughout Your career.

I had a ton of fun working with the 2K team on this project, especially the talented Sheldon Bailey, who plays the character you control, and director Chris Papierniak.

It was so fun doing motion capture – wearing the suit, getting chased around the warehouse…can’t wait to do it again!

Doppelgänger Poster for “Happy Endings”

Tom Christensen, Eliza Coupe, Zachary Knighton, & Billy Beck

I don’t know to what extent ABC is using this image for promotion, but @TVGuideMagazine tweeted out this pic yesterday!

Tom’s “Happy Endings” airs Sunday, January 6th!

I will appear on the ABC comedy Happy Endings next Sunday!  The show has been moved to a new time, so make sure you schedule appropriately:

Happy EndingsSunday, January 6th @10:00 PM on ABC (link to Facebook Event)

Working on this show was my all-time favorite job, thanks to the kind and playful cast and crew.  Especially deserving of praise is Eliza Coupe, who plays Jane.  I play her friend, and our characters are very similar: preppy, upscale, with Type A personalities.

And be sure to tune in two days later for my appearance on Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23!

Tom’s “Don’t Trust the B—-” Airs January 8th!

Hey everyone!

Remember when I was on this show last year? Neither do I. That’s because some very fine folks decided to let my episode of Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 (“The Scarlet Neighbor“) age like a fine wine, and uncork it in 2013 instead!

In THEORY, I am in this episode.  According to that same theory, I interact with stars Krysten Ritter and Dreama Walker, as they search for an eligible bachelor in a NY farmers market.

Wrapped on “Happy Endings”

I shot an awesome part on the ABC comedy Happy Endings!  I play Jamie, the male doppelgänger of Jane (Eliza Coupe).  He & she are very preppy, upscale, with Type A personalities.  I will be  in a couple of scenes with Max (Adam Pally).

Look for episode #3.09, entitled “Fowl Play/Date.”  I’m guessing January?

On a professional note, that was all around the most fun job I’ve had in Hollywood.  The entire team, every member, was a joy to work with, and I wish them the greatest success going forward.

And thanks again for all of YOUR support with 2 Broke Girls.  All of you were so kind to watch, and to comment on Facebook!  I was grateful for all of your feedback.
