I’m happy to officially announce that I will be working with Colin Harp at Stein Entertainment Group, headed by TJ Stein!  This is an exciting new development, just in time for the upcoming episodic season.

With the addition of Stein and the momentum from last year’s success with 2 Broke Girls, Happy Endings, and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, this will be a very exciting year!

I will appear on the ABC comedy Happy Endings next Sunday!  The show has been moved to a new time, so make sure you schedule appropriately:

Happy EndingsSunday, January 6th @10:00 PM on ABC (link to Facebook Event)

Working on this show was my all-time favorite job, thanks to the kind and playful cast and crew.  Especially deserving of praise is Eliza Coupe, who plays Jane.  I play her friend, and our characters are very similar: preppy, upscale, with Type A personalities.

And be sure to tune in two days later for my appearance on Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23!

Cheers,
-T

Tom’s “Don’t Trust the B—-” Airs January 8th!

Hey everyone!

Remember when I was on this show last year? Neither do I. That’s because some very fine folks decided to let my episode of Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 (“The Scarlet Neighbor“) age like a fine wine, and uncork it in 2013 instead!

In THEORY, I am in this episode.  According to that same theory, I interact with stars Krysten Ritter and Dreama Walker, as they search for an eligible bachelor in a NY farmers market.

“2 Broke Girls” & “Don’t Trust the B” Postcard

If you are a fan on Facebook, you may have seen an early draft of this postcard. I’m using it to promote my upcoming appearances on both “2 Broke Girls” in October(?) and “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23” later this year!

It was very gracious of Kat, Beth, Dreama, and Krysten to put aside their differences for a day and pose with me for this photo.

Now, if they could just write another 1/2 hour network comedy featuring two twenty-something girls (one blonde, the other brunette) sassily making their way through New York City…

Leads Krysten Ritter and Dreama Walker may be slightly more invested in the show’s success than I am, but we are all thrilled for the upcoming premier of Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23!

Keep your eye peeled for episode #105, in which I play the Pear Vendor.  I’m going to guess that it will air May 9th?  Still suffering PTSD from the farmers market scene

Hats off to fellow improviser Mookie Blaiklock for his series regularness!

Don’t Trust the B – – – – in Apartment 23!

dont-trust-the-b-in-apartment-23-tom-christensenToday, I had a great time shooting a co-star role on the upcoming ABC comedy, “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23!”  I play a Pear Vendor at an NYC farmers market, selling my wares to series leads Krysten Ritter and Dreama Walker.

The shoot was absolute bedlam!

LISTEN TO ME: Nothing…not a camera setup, not an A.D., not a herd of background-turned-security, NOTHING can prevent the elderly from getting what looks like a free sample.  I was dressed in an apron and had a cutting board with pears, and IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR SCENE, random people were walking into frame to get a piece of fruit.  We shot on location at the Culver City Farmers Market, and those people expect to get their sample one way or another…crazy!
