Last night I was in a short film entitled Just One Drink. I was the first to wrap at 1:30 A.M, and I have no idea how long they were on set. But I’m sure everyone was having a ton of fun because we were on-location shoot at The Original Cha Cha Cha Cafe…amazing food.
Being on set is half the fun. The other half is seeing your name in the credits. I’m happy to say that my credit for Clint Eastwood’s J is officially listed on IMDb here:
Ladies and Gentlemen, I will be appearing (briefly) in Clint Eastwood’s next movie! I just shot my scene for J. Edgar, the story of Hoover’s ascendance as the director of the FBI. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the titular character and a host of other acting greats including Dame Judi Dench, Naomi Watts, and Armie Hammer.
My role is tiny (“Theater Cashier”), and I’ve been keeping it a poorly guarded secret for the past month. I’m thrilled to be in my first studio feature! Look for me during the manhunt sequence. Don’t blink…
Side note: I recently acted in the musical short film Someplace Better Than Here, directed by Devin Maurer. Devin’s brother is Josh Lucas, who plays Charles Lindbergh in the feature.
Details for the short film I shot at the end of 2010 are now up on IMDb! You can check out details for the cast and crew here:
Today was the last day of photography on the short film “Someplace Better Than Here.” All around, the project was a joy to be a part of, and I’m sure it will turn out brilliantly. A rough cut is expected in time for festival submissions in December, so keep your eyes peeled for a screening in the not-too-distant future!
